CACI is seeking a talented Logistics Coordinator to join Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT) in Belgrade, MT. AVT is a fast-growing technology company that is a global leader in counter unmanned aerial systems, high-tech camera systems, and software development. AVT manufactures best-in-class gyro-stabilized gimbal systems designed for a wide variety of ground, maritime, and aerial-based applications. We specialize in fully integrated solutions for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and counter drone operations for the defense and aerospace industry. Our pioneering systems are supporting airborne, ground and maritime missions around the world.

This individual will work with a diverse team to support and ensure success of a variety of technical events and product demonstrations. They will be responsible for initiating and tracking shipments both domestically and internationally to ensure all customers and team members are fully supported. They will be part of a fast paced, ever changing environment working to solve problems to meet the needs of our customers. This position is intended to be an entry position geared to develop, perform, and track transport and event logistics as operational needs dictate.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Partner with Project & Production Managers to synchronize offsite testing event logistics with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Act as liaison between multi-disciplined teams in coordinating local demonstrations for prospective customers and/or corporate leadership.

  • Drive domestic and international shipping logistics, including freight needs, export/import compliance, and completion of documentation to meet Customs’ standards.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to problem-solve shipping anomalies: e.g., locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, resolve paperwork issues, and replace damaged items.

  • Support Sales in trade show and exhibition preparations, working in sync with the Event Planning and Marketing teams.

  • Create and maintain an accurate inventory and calendar of Sales and Engineering assets, both shared and dedicated.

  • Oversee and communicate asset tracking, including the incoming, outgoing, as well as general movement and schedule of.

  • Execute a variety of project coordinating and routing, as well as material handling responsibilities to meet Engineering and Production schedules.

  • Work with government facilities for personnel badging and equipment logistics.

  • Assist with the maintenance company vehicles and assets.

  • Perform ad hoc physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing parts, supplies, and equipment.

  • Provide general operations support as requested.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Professional written and oral communication skills with a variety of audience including suppliers, engineers, and managers.

  • Attention to detail with ability to recognize, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.

  • Strong organizational skills to track multiple endeavors at any given time.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related business discipline plus 1-3 years of logistics experience.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to handle; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

  • Valid state driver’s license (some off-site travel will be required).

  • Working knowledge ofMS Office, and other common software applications found in an office environment.

  • Ability to work independently.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Ability to operate a forklift.

  • Experience working with government customers.
