CACI's Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT) team in Belgrade, MT, is looking to hire a Senior Sales Account Manager to join their team as part of the National Security and Innovation Solutions (NSIS) sector. AVT manufactures best-in-class, gyro-stabilized gimbal systems designed for a variety of ground, maritime, and aerial-based applications. We specialize in fully integrated solutions for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and counter drone operations for the defense and aerospace industry. Our pioneering systems are currently supporting airborne, ground, and maritime missions around the world.

As a Senior Sales Account Manager, you will play a significant role in advancing AVT’s presence within our industries and driving strategic growth of the organization, particularly in the areas of military-grade optics, software, integrated counter-UAS and ground-based ISR systems. You will be an expert in knowledge of AVT and CACI’s businesses, the industry segment, and be able to leverage AVT’s strengths to build relationships and grow the brand by driving strategies to achieve business results, maximizing sales, profitability, and growth.

  • Focus on AVT initiatives to drive growth through market expansion, product expansion, and new technology development.

  • Create an environment of unified vision between the customer, AVT, and CACI’s broader business development team and CACI’s products and services groups.

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key customers.

More About the Role

  • Responsible for building/managing pipeline and accurately forecasting opportunities within the account.

  • Manages customer relationship management tools to track product sales and development opportunities within the account.

  • Provides timely, accurate, actionable insights on market and budgetary trends, the global threat environment, and competitors to support AVT initiatives and product development.

  • Collaborates with program management, product line management, and engineering on potential opportunities to drive growth in the account.

  • Creates multi-faceted relationships with customers, programs, and industry partners to enhance brand, sales, and profitability.

  • Cultivates, shepherds, and monitors customer-direct opportunities focused on executing near-term $50M sales target opportunities, as well as monitoring and contributing to RFI/RFP funnel development of longer range $100M+ sales target opportunities.

  • Conducts metrics analysis, corporate reporting, and senior-level briefings.

  • Provides overwatch and guidance to AVT's customer service and sales support efforts.

  • Maintains a strong awareness of competitive market and continually cultivates differentiation in product positioning.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales and/or business development experience.

  • 7+ years of industry related sales, sales management, or defense contract experience in the Department of Defense market.

  • There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain Secret clearance.

  • Proven track record of developing sales pipelines, exceeding quotas, and year-over-year growth.

  • Senior-level understanding of the marketplace and trends, demonstrated ability to find solutions to shortcomings in sales numbers through actively managing opportunities.

  • Ability to interact with the customer to understand and translate customer requirements to AVT engineering requirements.

  • Understanding of foreign militaries and partnering relationships.

  • Ability to brief product portfolio to all levels within DoD and foreign militaries.

  • Ability to travel on short notice to support customer engagements and product demonstrations.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Bozeman, MT, location is preferred, but not required

  • Global / international experience is a plus

  • Active Security Clearance

  • Experience with sales, front-end of the business, and face-to-face customer interactions

  • Familiarity with optics, photonics, and/or C-UAS domain

  • Familiar with data analytics market trends and applications

  • Experience with Salesforce customer relationship management platform

  • Enjoys working with people, developing relationships and sharing knowledge

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-stakes environment

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$86,800-$191,000
