Responsibilities

Picture yourself being aFront of House Managerat Big Sky Resort and having the opportunity to:

  • Lead and assist the front of house team members with overall direction and team development, while promoting a fun work environment
  • Oversee the daily operation and execution of steps of service to ensurequalityand efficiency of the guest experience
  • Engage with our guests with a positive attitude to enhance the dining experience and handle guest recovery
  • Follow established systems andprocesses for scheduling, staffing, pre shift meetings and other responsibilities to assure compliance with our brand standards
  • Step inany and ALLroles within the dining operation during our busiest timesincluding expo and host
  • Facilitate daily line-ups with service teams using excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrateyour cleanliness standards by upholding team members to maintaining impeccable order and organizationof the dining area
  • Participate in outlet management meetings and training opportunities
  • Lead weekly service training opportunities with resort provided tools
  • Accept and provide feedback and coaching regularly to support our team membersand General Manager
  • Learn and follow our Boyne Standards and Boyne Basics to better serve our guests
Qualifications

Recipe for Success:

  • Have a minimum of 2years’ experience within Food and Beverage with an emphasis in leadership
  • Possess a passion for the hospitality and culinary industry
  • Have extremely high standards and an acute attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable with POS systems and procedures
  • Displaya strong sense of urgency and responsibility while assuring consistent achievement of quality standards
  • Show a highlevel of personal initiative, technical problem solving and action and results driven
  • Possessstrong interpersonal and motivational skills, andthe ability to effectively supervise and inspire staff
  • Excel in an environment with varied taskswhile staying cool under pressure
  • Openness to work within established standards and procedures
  • Strong working knowledge with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Be available to work early, mid-day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Be able to lift at least 25 pounds
