SLEEP DISORDERS TECHNOLOGIST I SLEEP CENTER
Full-Time (.75 or greater)
The Sleep Disorders Center has helped thousands of people sleep better since 1983.
Under general supervision, the Sleep Disorders Tech sets up and monitors sleep disorder tests. Scores and evaluates polysomnograms. Performs routine maintenance of sleep lab equipment. Acts as primary contact in providing physicians, patients and Outreach accounts with diagnostic information and consultation regarding all aspects of sleep disorders.
Graduate of an AMA approved school for respiratory care, preferred
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the National Board for Respiratory Care, preferred
Graduate of an approved course for Polysomnographic Technologists, preferred
Credentialed by the Association of Polysomnographic Technologists within 18 months, preferred
Current license in the state of Montana/Wyoming as a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or Registered Nurse as required as applicable
Technologists must be supervised by a licensed Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) or Registered Nurse at all times and cannot independently perform duties
Certified in Basic Life Support and PALS or equivalent or PALS certification to be obtained within one year of employment
Completion of basic ECG class within six months of employment, required
