Humana Associate Director, Local Creative & Media Strategy in Billings, Montana

Description

Humana is seeking an Associate Marketing Director - Retail to join the Local Marketing Strategy and Activation team to lead the market-level creative and media strategy for Humana Medicare Advantage. As the Associate Marketing Director, you will provide data-based strategic direction to identify and address key issues and opportunities that directly enhance the performance of the Retail Acquisition Marketing Strategy.

Responsibilities

As the Associate Marketing Director you will be accountable for planning, creating and activating all local market awareness driving messaging. You will leverage product benefits and provider affiliations to integrate and innovate communications to raise awareness and consideration of Humana. You will bring creative and media expertise in support of the local market strategy to define/expand media channels and produce recommendations based on industry landscape and market priorities. Additionally, you will ensure that teams processes and procedures align with the Retail marketing vision and work. You will work directly with the Local Market Strategy team and business stakeholders to ensure team is on track with marketing plans in alignment with strategy. In this role, you will make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues while working across the organization.

  • Own the local market creative & media campaign strategy and on-time activation for the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and Open Enrollment Period (OEP)

  • Be knowledgeable of local market business dynamics to be able to direct media investment recommendations across markets, audiences, and channels

  • Create a local campaign test and learn agenda and establish processes and procedures for continuous local channel, media, and message testing

  • Develop local market messaging strategy that is coordinated and integrated across the marketing funnel

  • Activate against media placement, product validation, provider affiliation marketing

  • Drive key process across sales, agencies, legal/compliance including market level insights, tagging, tracking, reporting, local versioning, state filing and optimization planning

  • Ensures flawless execution of local marketing media and related initiatives

  • Collaborate with Analytics and Finance teams to measure the success of the market level media through data to fully assess awareness performance

Require Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communication or related field

  • 5+ years of marketing experience

  • 2+ years of management experience

  • Prior media marketing experience

  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability of managing and prioritizing diverse sets of projects

  • A demonstrated track record of building trusted and consultative relationships with key business partners

  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with senior and executive level audiences

  • Excellent collaboration skills with Marketing leadership, peers, and associates - both matrix and direct

  • Proven track record in culture building, team development, and preparing direct reports for upward mobility

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

Covid-19 Vaccine/Testing Requirement

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
