AWARE HEADSTART EARLY HEAD START TEACHER in BILLINGS, Montana
AWARE is looking for the right person to join the Early Head Start team as an Early Head Start Teacher. Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in guiding the implementation of a comprehensive child development program that meets the Head Start definition of curriculum in all program options and settings to assigned children six weeks through three years of age. - Practice theories and sound principles of child and parent education in an environment in which children can develop personal relationships, experiment, make choices, solve problems, and develop age-appropriate social and self-help skills. - Plan and participate in parent education and parent involvement activities. - Present as a clinical coordinator in developing and implementing service and individual treatments plans. Required Skills, Abilities and Education: - A minimum of two (2) years of employment experience working with children aged 0 ? 5. - Knowledge of program planning, early childhood assessment and family systems. - Professional oral and written communication skills and an ability to form professional relationships with a diverse group of people. computer literacy skills, including the ability to navigate, record, and overall basic computer skills.
