ALTERNATIVES INC HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT in BILLINGS, Montana
The Housekeeping Assistant (HA) is directly accountable to the Housekeeping Supervisor. The HA is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness for all agency equipment, facilities, and grounds. To accomplish this, the HA is assigned supervision of Inmate Workers, and draws on the resident population who are responsible for room care and cleanliness of the common areas of residential facilities. Tasks include training Inmate Workers and residents, monitoring their performance of duties, documenting the completion of assignments, and performing regular inspections to assess sanitation, maintenance, housekeeping needs and safety needs. Close coordination is required with Client Advisor and Kitchen personnel. REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalency. Must have current Montana driver's license. Ability to pass Federal workplace drug and alcohol testing requirements. Good writing and verbal skills. Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs. PREFERRED: Experience working in community corrections. Experience working in environmental services.
