BILLINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT #2 INSTRUCTIONAL PARAPROFESSIONAL in BILLINGS, Montana
Billings School District #2 is seeking an INSTRUCTIONAL PARAPROFESSIONAL (ILC) for Senior High School for the 2023/2024 School Year. Duties: - Performs instructional activities as planned, assigned and organized by professional staff for individual and/or small groups of students. - Works with the teacher with students who need to learn positive behaviors in order to be successful in the classroom setting. - Helps in the selection, preparation and organization of materials appropriate to students\' needs in accordance with designated lessons. - Collects data and reports student progress to the teacher.
Qualifications: - Must have previous experience working with children. - Requires a High School graduate or equivalent. - Pre-employment physicals are required for this position and paid for by the District. - Requires 60 semester / 90 quarter college credits or successful completion of the WorkKeys test to meet requirement of No Child Left Behind (NCLB). Hours: Full Time 1.0 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) 8 hours a day Monday - Friday. 9-months a year. Wage: \$14.80 per hour for 120-day probationary period, then \$16.45 per hour.
