Billings Clinic Investigational Drug Pharmacist in Billings, Montana

Investigational Drug Pharmacist



The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services. Work of the graduate pharmacist is conducted under the review and supervision of the registered pharmacist.



BSPharm required. Pharm.D.

preferred with residency training

National Pharmacy Certifications preferred


following are the core job duties for this position:


with the Billings Clinic Research Department to provide oversight and

supervision of medication-related investigational drug service (IDS)

activities (60% of FTE)


as a clinical pharmacist in the Infusion Center Pharmacy.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: clinical medication

order review and verification, supervision of technician compounding

activities, dispensing of infusion medications, and answering drug

information questions for staff (30% of FTE)


educational materials and ensure education/competency of the infusion

pharmacy, nursing, and research staff on appropriate preparation,

dispensing, and administration of research/investigational medications



to these core responsibilities, experience in investigational drug services

(IDS) and adult and pediatric chemotherapy is preferred.
