Rocky Mountain College, a small liberal arts institution in Billings, Montana, is accepting applications for an Informational Technology Technician / Information Technology Help Desk Administrator. Key Responsibilities include: - Provide customer service and support in a higher education environment via phone, email, remote assistance and in person.- Assist with the delivery of remote and distance learning by removing administrative barriers to improve access for resident students, ensuring equal access to all students, and supporting and enhancing quality of online instruction.- Work with non-technical faculty, staff and students in troubleshooting and resolving technical matters.- Provide technical support for online services, software and hardware, client/server applications, LAN/WAN/WiFi networks and mobile computing.- Assume responsibility and follow through to resolve customer issues in a timely manner, and keep the customer informed during the process.- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.- Work in a team environment focused on providing excellent customer service. Position Requirements:- Bachelor degree (B.A.) from a 4 year college or University preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Extensive experience with Windows 10 and at least one version of MAC OS.- Ability to solve problems; ability to work both independently and as a part of a team; ability to prioritize.
