I State Truck Inc Lead Welder in Billings, Montana

Welders fulfill a critical role in our operations. We are currently seeking a certified or non-certified Lead Welder for our Industrial division that supports mining, oil and gas, power generation, and processing customers.
Plant maintenance, crusher rebuilds, conveyor repairs, and various welding repairs/projects
Welding repairs to large mining equipment including shovels, draglines, haul trucks
Fabrication according to prints
Experience with stick and wire feed (dual shield) preferred as well as experience with hard wire and hard facing
Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department and customers
Keep paper work updated and handed in upon completion
Experience reading blueprints, with 2 years' experience
Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualities:
The ability to set goals and accomplish them
Good written and verbal communication skills
Requirements for Welder:
Reports directly to the Industrial Service Manager
High school degree or G.E.D.
Must have at least 5 years welding experience
Minimum of 3 years leading a crew
Does not need to operate lathe
Must have your own set of general tools
MSHA certification strongly preferred
Must have a valid drivers license
Must be physically able to lift at least 50 pounds and work with no restrictions
