Your day.
As a Critical Care ICU Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you’ll work with 3 other intensivists and 1 APP to provide top-notch care and patient experience.
You would practice at St. Vincent in Billings, Montana in a 26-bed ICU
This position is 100% critical care
You would work with a strong Emergency Medicine team, Hospitalist group, and a number of other specialists
You would work with a group that has a collaborative and supportive team dynamic
You would round on and transfer ICU patients, develop treatment plans, and work closely with the intensivist on shift
In this line of work every day is different, that’s why you’ll need to know how to:
Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens.
Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.

An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
It’s also a big plus if you have:
Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position.
Passion to work in a fast-pace, collaborative environment.
ICU/inpatient experience preferred.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$43.16 - $79.15
