For more information, visit Responsibilities: Preparing and drawing plans, sections, detail drawings, isometrics, P&ID's and PFD's. Producing elementary layouts for facilities, equipment, locations, etc. from reference drawings and making related routine calculations. Assisting more experienced designers on complex drafting projects. Recording and filing blueprints, graphs, forms and charts. Exercises judgment in selecting work methods and knowledge of which project specific procedures to be followed. Capable of detecting errors during and upon completion of assignments. Self check of quality / accuracy of own work Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions on matters not covered by standard procedures. Work is reviewed periodically and is checked for accuracy and adequacy upon completion of assignments. Qualifications Requires basic computer skills including relevant 2D CAD training. Must be physically able to work on site at a normal operating facility, construction site or other field locations. Must be reliable and work independently with direct supervision from a more senior designer. Must be fluent in English both spoken and written. Must have minimum 1 year field experience in a refinery or chemical plant. Software Experience (Required): AutoCAD 2012 Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training Technical school graduate with specific discipline training, and up to two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
