Proposal Development Coordinator

POWER Engineers, one of the nation’s strongest energy-related engineering and environmental consultants, is currently seeking a Proposal Coordinator for the Environmental Division. This is a professional-level position focused on coordinating the production and delivery of proposals, qualification packages, and marketing materials to respond to client requests. This is not a sales position.

This position offers an opportunity to work remote, or an option to work hybrid, on-site depending on office location.

Required Experience

  • One to three years of experience providing writing, editing, and communication services

  • High degree of self-motivation, initiative, and follow-through

  • Demonstrated skills coordinating and facilitating efficient communication within diverse groups of people

  • Effective time management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks based on shifting needs

  • Experience with standard office software

  • Able to work regular business hours, 8 am – 5 pm, with occasional overtime, alone or in a team

Desired Experience + Education

Experience in the following is a plus, but not mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with preference to majors in English, Communications, Journalism and Marketing, or similar

  • Responding to requests for proposals (RFPs)

  • Grant or technical writing

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • CRM databases

  • Experience in the environmental consulting industry or an environmental background

Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $50K - 65K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
