Your day.

As a Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) or Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA),you'll work with a team ofcollaborativeproviders to provide top-notch care and patient experience.

  • You would practice at SCL Health: St. Vincentin Billings, MT.
  • You would perform non-needle diagnostic imaging fluoroscopy procedures independently.
  • You would perform and/or assist with needle procedures with a radiologist.
  • You would work closely with 2 APPs and a group of 10 radiologists.
  • You would perform inpatient, ED, and outpatient exams.

In this line of work every day is different, that's why you'll need to know how to:

  • Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnosis and treatment.
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens.
  • Direct and coordinate the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.

Your experience.

  • A Radiology Practitioner Assistant (RPA) or Registered Radiologist Assistant (RRA) license.
  • 2 to 3 yearsof experience preferred.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree.

It's also a big plus if you have:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.
  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$39.15 - $71.80
