Manhattan Strategy Group Region VIII Head Start Regional Systems Specialist in Billings, Montana

Position Description:
As part of a regional team:
Identify cross-system coordination opportunities between OCC and OHS in the region
Link TTA resources and training to the Child Care Resource and Referral network and other such organizations, as appropriate
Provide information, consultation, and technical assistance to TTA staff on work related to coordination and collaboration between Head Start and child care programs
Aggregate and analyze regional data related to Head Start and child care collaboration to identify cross-system coordination and collaboration issues
Provide direct TTA to Head Start/Early Head Start grantees
Incorporate other tasks reflective of evolving national priorities as presented by the Office of Head Start, National Centers, Regional Offices and/or aggregate regional assessment data.

Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of a BA or a BS, with a preference for a Master's Degree, from an accredited university or college in early childhood education, child development or related degree.
A minimum of seven years of experience. At least 3 years with the provision of technical assistance and consultation to Head Start and child care programs is preferred; at least 3 years' experience working with partnerships such as partnerships among Head Start/Early Head Start, child care and state prekindergarten programs.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in developing successful collaborations within state early childhood systems, familiarity with Head Start Program Performance Standards and other regulations; state child care licensing standards and regulations and Quality Rating Improvement Systems (QRIS).
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing to various audiences.
