Part-Time (.5 - .74)

Nursing Resource nurses cover all Medical Surgical Units (Inpatient Medical, Inpatient Surgical, Ortho/Neuro Unit, Inpatient Cancer Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit). Nursing Resources may cover other units when the skill sets of our nurse(s) meet the needs of the requesting unit. Nurses in this department must be fully engaged, have strong skill sets and be able to perform and communicate on high functioning teams.

Under general supervision, utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and theoretical/clinical skills in the promotion/maintenance of health. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care rendered.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

· Bachelors degree in nursing preferred

· Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required

· Current Montana and/or Wyoming state license as a registered nurse required

Associate (or Diploma) RNs hired into this position must commit to completing their Bachelor of Nursing degree within 4 years after their hire date. Billings Clinic will help support the cost through financial assistance.
