Position Overview:
The Semi-Truck Driver will haul various materials, concrete paving equipment, and miscellaneous support equipment to and from job sites. The Semi-Truck Driver is a full-time position that requires overtime through peak season, reports to the Foreman, and will have no supervisory responsibility.

Essential Duties and Functions:
Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects
Haul concrete paving equipment and miscellaneous support equipment
Maintain vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner
Perform maintenance on assigned trucks and other equipment as needed
Complete pre and post-shift inspections and assist with equipment repairs as needed
Set up and tear down job sites when moving to and from locations (as needed)
Record any maintenance issues in the truck logbook and ensure the supervisor is aware of any maintenance issues that would inhibit work production or create safety concerns
Properly secure loads to meet laws and safety regulations
Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours)
Position Requirements:
Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test
Experience with heavy haul loads
Class A CDL
Clean DMV record
Basic maintenance skills
Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal
Physical Requirements:
