Our Technical Product Team seeks to continue success with our global payments and mobile solutions that enables our customers to start, run, manage, and grow their business.

Elavon is looking for an innovative Product Manager supporting the creation and enhancement of our software products. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the development teams, customers, and Commercial managers to ensure that the team clearly understands the required functionality to meet market needs. You will also have responsibility to keep abreast of market trends, product development, product position and pricing philosophy, as well as, recommend enhancements to product line to stimulate sales and meet objectives. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Create the roadmap and strategy for a specific product or group of products.

  • Collaborate with product, project and development stakeholders and teams, gather requirements, coordinate dependencies and identify risks and opportunities.

  • Serve as a SME for a specific product or group of products.

  • Work as the product owner with one or more agile development teams by setting priorities and translating product inputs into well-defined functional requirements.

  • Translate product strategy into requirement documents, use cases and process flows.

  • Continuously manage priorities in-line with market demand and product roadmap.

  • Engage with existing clients and new prospects to help identify product needs and desires.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

  • 8 years of related work experience.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the assigned business line and technical marketing skills.

  • Strong product management, design and development skills.

  • Strong knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis.

  • Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services within assigned area.

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong financial and competitive analysis and PC skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

PREFERRED

  • 5 years of experience in the development of software, software as a solution and/or APIs

  • Has worked or experience in Agile software development.

  • Knowledge of payments industry.

  • Knowledge of mobile device management.

  • Product management, design and development skills.

  • Thorough knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis.

  • Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills.

  • Strong financial and competitive analysis and computer skills.

  • Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline.
