We are currently looking for a Sales Solution Engineer to join our team of talented professionals. This role will be working closely with sales and account managers on both existing and prospective customers to pursue opportunities, and expand existing account activity. This role will be working with market focus in municipal and local government.
What Will You Do?
Set up demonstration sites for the Sales and Account Management teams
Keep all sites current with Esri, Cityworks and SQL database
Develop presentations and presentation strategies
Assist in shortlist demonstrations or other significant presentations
Assist marketing with content for articles or webinars
Assist in the RFP responses to technical information
Be knowledgeable of all products in the Cityworks and Esri ecosystem
Assist in major event presentation development
Present thought leadership papers at conferences
Maintain in-depth product knowledge.
What You Bring:
5+ years with Cityworks software (PLL Preferred)
Knowledge and some skills with Esri ArcGIS is required.
BS/BA in civil engineering, GIS, geography, CS, or related field.
Knowledge of leading database systems (Oracle and/or SQL Server) is required
Ability to think and act strategically as well as tactically.
Self-starter with a strong need for achievement.
Enjoys the challenge of being a significant part of a growing, developing organization.
Strong persuasion, reasoning, and negotiation skills.
Effective time management, decision making, analytical, and problem solving capabilities.
It Would Be Great To Have:
Solid knowledge of community development, public works, and utilities in municipal and/or utility districts (water, wastewater, stormwater, streets, and traffic) is a plus.
Knowledge of electric, gas, and/or telecom is a plus.
