UFP Industries, Inc. Maintenance Supervisor in Bonner-West Riverside, Montana


The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the management of the
plant's maintenance function and programs. Relies on experience and
judgment to plan and accomplish goals; some creativity and latitude is
expected; works under the supervision of a Plant Manager.

\* Interviews, hires, orientates and trains maintenance personnel.

\*Coach and counsel employees, initiates discipline as required.

\*Evaluates performance of subordinates.

\*Develops and implements preventative and other maintenance programs to
ensure proper equipment operation.

\*Identifies, researches and resolves problems.

\*Coordinates maintenance activities with operating department's

\*Leads employees in continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

\*Performs regular/preventative maintenance on all machinery, and
including lift trucks, tools and buildings.

\*Develops, implements and supervises the plant's Preventive Maintenance

\*Repairs machinery, equipment, buildings and other Company assets in
accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, manufacturing
specifications, or by management request.

\*Orders supplies and parts as required, at competitive pricing and

\*Maintains records of repair/maintenance activities, per Company

\*Prepares other reports as required.

\*Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and

\*Post high school education is required

\*Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance
area; 1 to 3 years of experience managing people.

\*Strong working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and control
technology, and welding.

\*Strong working knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable
laws, rules and regulations.

\*Demonstrate working knowledge of hazardous waste and hazardous
material handling procedures and practices

\*Strong working knowledge of the use of precision tools, measuring
instruments, and other hand tools.

\*Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and other business

\*Preferred understanding on company policies, practices and
