RESULTS STATEMENT
The All Season Property Professional ensures that the lawn and snow removal needs of their assigned properties are promptly and professionally fulfilled.

STRATEGIC WORK

SUMMER
Ensure that proper equipment is in the truck before leaving the shop
Full gas cans
Full propane mower tanks
Trimmer line
Oil
Repair tools
Personal Protective Equipment: Earplugs, goggles
Proactively maintain equipment according to SOP
Scag - grease, oil, hydraulic fluid, sharpen blades, air filter
Kubota - grease, oil, hydraulic fluid, sharpen blades, air filter, radiator
Wheeler - oil and air filters
Trimmer and blower - air filters

WINTER
Ensure that proper equipment is in the truck before leaving the shop
Proactively maintain equipment

TACTICAL WORK

SUMMER
Mow
Mow grass at a reasonable length, even if double passing is required
Ensure there are no shaggy grass, even if trim mowing is necessary
Trim
Plan the best possible way to complete trimming efficiently and thoroughly
Work to eliminate walking time when not trimming, aim to trim one line, starting and finishing at the same spot
Trim every edge of every building, curb, beds, trees and all the grass the mower can’t
Make a cut on edges at an angle that looks clean, cared for, and is the same height as the mower deck height
Work quickly, running between sections
Blow off any grass that is on concrete
Double check that all lines are trimmed and uniform
Refill trimmers and blowers at the end of the job

WINTER
Quickly and efficiently clean sidewalks
Push sidewalks edge to edge, grass visible and curbside open
Push curbs five feet out if lot has not been plowed, or to the nearest snow storage location if it has already been plowed
Spread ice melt at the demonstrated application rate
Clean dumpster corrals of snow
Use various equipment, such as 4-wheeler or SSV, to ensure the route is complete to company standards
Complete trash duties, which includes changing the dog pots and trash bags on Mondays and Thursdays
Perform basic repairs
Promptly and accurately report major repair needs to Shop Manager
Track supplies
Converse with clients about property concerns and provide them with business cards to contact the office
Ensure records are correctly entered on Jobber
Willingness to work on any company crew (BSS prefers and provides opportunities for year-round employment)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Age 16 or older
Legal, valid, unrestricted, driver's license, with no DUIs in the past 3 years or multiple infractions in order to drive a BSS vehicle
Reliable transportation to work to help maintain a pristine attendance record
Flexible winter schedule, (hours may begin 3am and end at 7pm on snow days, with a guaranteed 2 consecutive days off per week)
Consistent summer schedule, (hours are typically 7am to 5pm, Mondays - Thursdays and occasionally Fridays and optional Saturdays due to inclement weather prior in the week)
Ability to work year round
Keen attention to detail
Consistent, eagerness to improve clients’ properties
Contagious, positive “can-do” attitude

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, running, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling
Lifting and raising objects up to 60 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position, to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles
Fingering, grasping, feeling, repetitive motion
Talking and hearing
Subject to changing environmental conditions
