Bio Medical Technician - Bozeman
BOZEMAN ADMINSTRATION - 7895 (BILLINGS CLINIC BOZEMAN AMBULATORY)
Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)
Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours (Non-Exempt)
Starting Wage DOE + Bozeman Differential
Under general supervision, this position provides medical equipment service, performing maintenance, safety testing and routine repairs.
Essential Job Functions
Under General Supervision this position performs repair and maintenance on medical equipment.
Provides equipment repair and preventative maintenance throughout responsible area.
Effectively handles all service emergencies and necessary communications with Vendor, Department, and Clinical Engineering Manager.
Completes all necessary record keeping for work orders received and/or finished.
Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the most cost-effective maintenance of medical equipment.
Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental, and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
Supports regional branches and affiliates as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School or GED
2 years of experience in electronics
Understanding of biomedical equipment applications, communication systems, electrical and electronics theory as it pertains to medical electronic equipment
