Bozeman Health Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist in Bozeman, Montana

Psychiatrist:

We are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health group. Bozeman Health is opening a new 12-bed adult inpatient psychiatry unit and looking for two psychiatrists to staff this new unit. There will also be opportunities to do inpatient psychiatric consults to our med/surg floors and/or do outpatient clinic. Ideal candidate must be a graduate of ACGME accredited psychiatry residency. 3-5 years of post-residency experience preferred but not required. Experience working in an integrated behavioral health setting and knowledge of the collaborative care model preferred.

Clinic Hours and Call:

Our beautiful new inpatient unit will be located in Bozeman Deaconess Hospital. In addition to psychiatrist, the unit will have nursing and therapeutic support services. Hours are expected to be M-F 8-5pm with call shared among the other psychiatrist (anticipating 1:5). Common disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar, substance abuse, and psychosis are expected to be treated on this unit.

Bozeman Health is a faith-based nonprofit health system governed by a community board of directors and spans 5 campuses: Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital, Highland Park Medical Campus, Belgrade Clinic, Cottonwood Clinic, MSU Student Athlete Clinic and Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center. The integrated health system also includes Bozeman Health Hillcrest Senior Living with independent and assisted living facilities, an outpatient services center, a same-day surgery center, a clinical research group and Bozeman Health Retail Care. Today, Bozeman Health is the largest private employer in Gallatin Valley with more than 2400 employees.

The hospital is a 105-bed facility with 8 ORs, 20 bed Critical care unit, and 25 bed ED. Approximately 28,000 ED visits per year. Bozeman Health is committed to the care of patients of all ages and recently opened a Women’s and Children’s Tower and NICU.

The hospital has level III ACS Trauma Center designation and is DNV accredited. There are approximately 260 physicians on the medical staff representing a broad spectrum of both medical and surgical specialties.
