Bozeman Health Collection Specialist in Bozeman, Montana

Position Summary:

The Collections Specialist is responsible for all collection activities after third-party funding has been exhausted.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Two (2) to Four (4) years Collections experience

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree

Essential Job Functions:

  • Follows up on patient accounts to insure compliance with financial agreements

  • Coordinates financial agreement with patients

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrates sound judgement, patience, and maintains a professional demeanor at all times

  • Computer applications, MS Office, EMR, internet applications and standard office equipment

  • Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity and maintains confidentiality

  • Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Detail oriented, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
