Williams Plumbing / Civil Construction Laborer in Bozeman, Montana
Are you ready to kick-start your career in the plumbing industry? At Williams, you will receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and mentorship from our experienced plumbing professionals.
What You'll Do:
You'll start your journey with Williams by working in our warehouse for up to 3 months, followed by up to 3 months in our prefabrication shop. This unique onboarding and training opportunity will prepare you for a rewarding career in the field, where you will contribute to our exciting new construction plumbing projects. Our program is designed to help you become a skilled and knowledgeable plumber while supporting your growth in the trade.
Warehouse (Stage 1: up to 3 months):
Assist with receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders
Sort materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Ensure warehouse is accessible, orderly, and safe
Learn about plumbing materials, tools, and safety procedures
Prefabrication (Stage 2: up to 3 months):
Collaborate with our experienced team in assembling prefabricated plumbing components
Assist in cutting, fitting, and welding pipes to create custom plumbing solutions
Gain valuable skills in blueprint reading and plumbing system design
Focus on quality control and adherence to plumbing standards
Field: (after completion of Stages 1 & 2):
Work alongside skilled plumbers on new construction plumbing projects
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized job site
Continuously learn and develop your plumbing skills under the guidance of experienced mentors
