Mid-Level Civil Engineer
Morrison-Maierle, Inc. has an exciting opportunity in our Bozeman, Montana office for a mid-level Land Development Engineer.
This is a full-time position, but for the right individual a 30-hour part-time position would be considered.
Mid-Level Civil Engineer
Opportunity
This position will be working on design and permitting of a variety of civil engineering projects in the areas around Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana. Project work will be dependent on the candidate’s experience and interests. Areas of focus are land development, water and wastewater, and local transportation projects. Initially the position will be working under the direction of project managers with plenty of opportunities for growth.
Depending on experience, tasks may include project planning, development, and design; permitting; preparation of technical reports; preparation of construction plans and specifications; and project management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience with more experience desirable. Professional Engineer preferred.
Value added skills or certifications could include:
Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Land development experience
Local government infrastructure design experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word.
High level of personal responsibility and accountability. Interpersonal skills to meet and communicate effectively with employees, managers, and clients. Positive attitude and professional bearing. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
Salary
$65,000 - $90,000 per year dependent on experience
