Job Description

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or experience in a related field
Experience working with older adults
Experience coordinating volunteers
Computer skills, data entry and willingness to learn new software
A people person who especially enjoys older adults

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Work under the direction of the Executive Director
Responsible for coordinating volunteers for all aspects of the nutrition program
Plan and coordinate marketing & networking for center nutrition program
Prepare information for monthly Prime News
Develop and coordinate the routes for meals on wheels clients and volunteers
Collecting intake forms and performing assessments for participants
Manage program with confidents, keep all clients data up to date for accurate deliveries, responsible for both walk-in-meals and meals-on-wheels data program updates each month (CAPSTONE ENTRY)
Responsible for helping in all aspects of the center operation; assisting
People at front desk, answering phones etc.
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Walk-in-Meals and Meals-on-wheels
Helping in the kitchen to get meals out and address questions/concerns with volunteers

Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Special events do necessitate working some nights and weekends.
(Seldom more than one time a month)

Possess excellent interpersonal skills, be self-directed and
self-disciplined, demonstrate organizational ability and
have the ability to be a successful team player. Must also
possess excellent human relations skills, the ability to work
effectively with other staff members, evidence of good
judgment, flexibility and innovativeness to
respond to the changing needs of the participants of the
program and organization involved, and will be able to
communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
The successful candidate will also be familiar with
different socioeconomic audiences, an interest in working
with people from diverse backgrounds, and a commitment to the principles of aging service. Most importantly, an enjoyment for working with older individuals

Wages:
Hourly Position $18.
