The Plumbing Foreman supervises the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing systems. As a Plumbing Foreman you have strong knowledge of plumbing piping systems, underground sprinkler systems, fire protection systems, and other related special systems. You understand appropriate state and city plumbing codes and can understand and review architectural and mechanical drawings. As a Plumbing Foreman you will provide supervision to the craft of plumber: by making job assignments, adjusting schedules to maintain manpower, and inspecting the work of the plumbers.

What You'll Do:

  • Inspect the work site to determine methods of operation: supply tools and request the appropriate level of manpower needed to successfully complete the work

  • Assign plumbers to specific tasks and supervises these activities, assisting in layout, fabrication and assembly problems as required

  • Provide for the transportation of tools, equipment, and materials to the job site

  • Order materials, including tools necessary to complete the work

  • Supervise plumbers when necessary

  • Coordinate the activities of the plumbers to coincide with those of other crafts, as required in the progress of the job

    Required Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical work

  • Field supervision experience is strongly preferred

  • Current valid Montana Journeyman Plumber's license
