Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 6-ProdDev in Bozeman, Montana

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Acknowledged expert/professional within company and/or industry nationally and internationally. Provides leadership in the development and strategic direction of new products, processes, techniques. Acts as primary consultant on large projects that effect the organization*s long term objectives / strategy. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 12 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

The CX Industries team creates SaaS products for industries like Utilities, Telecommunications, Consumer Goods, Automotive, Financial Services, building on and around the comprehensve capablities of Oracle CX Cloud Suite and other assets. This is a strategic area for oracle with a great deal of innovation driving greenfield solutions that address evolving industry needs.We are looking for an experienced product manager to join our team and help shape the future of these solutions as we we strive to exceed industry expectations.

What we are looking for:

You are an experienced product leader with 10-15 years of experience and a track record of creating and delivering successful programmes across the the world. You enjoy working in industry focused environments and have experience shaping solutions that address the specific business needs. You bring enthusiasm, motivation and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment working with teams across organizational bounds. You are an excellent communicator and can present to executive leadership, participate in the sales cycle, and handle sensitive customer escalations.

Ideally you will have:

  • 10 - 15 years experience as a product manager

  • Knowledge and experience of CX domain and products

  • Knoweldge and understanding of Utilities market and business challenges

key responsibilities will include:

  • Define and evolve solution and product strategy

  • Conduct market and customer research to understand industry trends and provide thought leadership in domain

  • Provide competitive insights and use to shape requirements and priorities

  • Collaborate with outbound product management and marketing to create messaging and enablement content

  • Contribute with business assessment and planning

  • Work with wider product management team and engineering to define, manage and prioritise requirements

  • Create and deliver executive level presentations both internally and externally

  • Partner with the field to assist with key opportunities and ensuring customer success

  • Build networks and initiatives across alliances and consulting to support delivery
