Bozeman Health Recruiter (FT- 1 fte- On-Site) in Bozeman, Montana

Position Summary:

Responsible for full cycle recruitment (non-provider) and onboarding for Bozeman Health. Responsible for effectively partnering with management to understand business needs; developing, executing and tracking recruiting strategies; identifying, using and evaluating a variety of recruiting sources to attract and develop a diverse pipeline of candidates; screening, interviewing and selecting candidates for positions in the organization; collaborating with management in arranging interviews for qualified applicants and creating and negotiating job offers; ensuring successful onboarding of new hires and compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Identify partnering organizations with a special attention paid to diversity and inclusion groups. Assist with retention efforts by identifying potential training opportunities and coordinating and/or conducting new hire onboarding and/or leadership training approved by management. Fully participates in other Human Resources initiatives as needed. This position reports to the System Manager of Talent Acquisition and Retention within a system shared services structure.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum two years direct experience with job screening, hiring practices and talent acquisition

  • Knowledge of human resources functional areas and applicable state employment laws

Preferred

  • SHRM or HRCI Professional Certification

Essential Job Functions:

In addition to the essential functions of the job listed below, employees must have on-time completion of all required education as assigned per DNV requirements, Bozeman Health policy, and other registry requirements.

  • Manages entire talent acquisition and onboarding process

  • Coordinates and implements appropriate, applicant pools using cost-effective advertising for open positions

  • Partners with leaders through selection, interview, onboarding and new employee orientation processes

  • Collects, tracks, analyzes and reports recruitment and other data for HR measures.

  • Provides cross-functional support in other HR areas (i.e. benefits, health and safety, employee relations, etc.)

  • Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize

  • Standard office equipment and computer applications; MS Office, EMR, internet applications etc.

  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

  • Ability to work varied shifts

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Lift 30 pounds of weight (pick up supplies, move equipment, etc.) Carry equipment/supplies.

  • Extended Hours: The role may involve working for extended periods, requiring sitting, walking, or standing for eight or more hours daily.

  • Flexible Schedule: The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts

  • On-Call Availability: On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs

  • Effective Communication: Proficient in effective communication, both in person and through various technologies

  • Handling Challenging Situations: The role may involve dealing with upset individuals, requiring the ability to de-escalate situations and work effectively with frustrated patients, families, or employees

  • Repetitive Tasks: Ability to perform repetitive tasks as needed to fulfill job responsibilities

Tasks Include Potential Exposure: Job tasks may involve exposure to:

  • Bloodborne pathogens, such as blood, bodily fluids, or tissues.

  • Radiation in settings where medical imaging procedures are performed

  • Various chemicals and medications used in healthcare settings. Job tasks may involve handling cleaning products, disinfectants, and other substances.

  • Infectious diseases due to contact with patients in areas that may have contagious illnesses
