Responsibilities include ensuring case management practices align with procedures, policy, and law; counseling clients on job and career development goals; providing staff assistance with decision-making on difficult cases and serving as a liaison between Vocational Rehabilitation and Blind Services and community partners. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity* * * Knowledgeof psychosocial assessment, occupational placement, and vocational rehabilitation counseling. * Knowledgeof medical and psychiatric conditions in relation to the rehabilitation process. * Knowledgeof counseling theories, techniques, and applications. * Effectivewritten and oral communication skills. * Abilityto be flexible and balance between literal adherence to rules and the use of policies as a guide.
