Aerotek Sander And Buffer in Bozeman, Montana

Start a new career crafting handmade guitars! No experience needed- $18-$22hr & $3K Sign-on Bonus!

We are looking for entry-level sanders and assemblers to help make handmade guitars. Hand Sanders and buffers are the last steps in the back plant process of building a guitar. They are responsible for ensuring that moving forward the guitar has no gaps, dings, scratches, or chip-outs, and that all areas are sanded to spec. As a sander with us, you will learn different wood types and how heat and moisture affect the creation of the guitar. This position is a critical step in creating an instrument that is both playable and aesthetically pleasing.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities will include:

• Learn and execute standard operating procedures

• Successfully cross-training in all sanding processes including Body Sand and Neckfit

• Must be able to lift, move, and Hand Sand 16 guitars per shift

• 95% pass rate based on production requirements

• Understands and meets quality standards (Specs.)

• Maintains product flow at the appropriate rate

Positions from entry-level to Skilled with three shifts available.
