Our Life Enhancement Specialist assists residents in living each day with a sense of purpose. By getting to know each individual, you will help them discover what that purpose is, or support them in pursuing the hobbies or interests they enjoy. You’ll be involved with implementing programs and events, and assist with outings in both Assisted Living and Memory Care.

QUALIFICATIONS: 18+ years of ageCurrent (or obtain) CPR and First Aid certificationCurrent TB testExcellent organization, problem-solving and time-management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with or desire to work with the elderly, including those with physical and/or cognitive impairmentsHealth screening and fingerprinting (California only)Negative criminal record/background statementAbility to see, hear, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continuously during work hoursMeet all criteria as required by state and local licensing agenciesBasic computer and email skillsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationAbility to comply with Highgate’s Team Member handbook, policies and proceduresAbility to complete training/certifications within prescribed time frames by supervisor APPLY NOW
