Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.
Assist management with implementation of corporate and local campaign media plans. Apply corporate and local campaign advertising with assistance and guidance. Support efforts to integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns and across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising in line with standard practices and procedures. Assist more senior team members with partner advertising. Measure advertising effectiveness.
Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Graduate or equivalent with 0 - 2 year experience. Basic knowledge of marketing techniques and company wide products. Developing experience and understanding through exposure to production, media buying and campaign involvement.

The role of a Virtual Event Specialist is to provide expert online event support services that result in exceptional customer experiences. You must be able to demonstrate deep technical skills and understanding of the systems and vendors that are used for virtual events and webinars. You will apply that understanding to assist with all aspects of the successful planning, technical implementation, troubleshooting, and execution of virtual events at Oracle. The probability of technical issues and complications arising from these virtual events is high, and these challenges need to be addressed and resolved quickly, calmly and without interruption.
Strong candidates need to be comfortable working in a dynamic, challenging and fast-paced environment and will be involved with the many facets of online event production. Strong candidates will need to demonstrate creativity and fast thinking when solving problems that often arise when working with virtual event technology and platforms.
Expert on the implementation of Zoom or other platforms that emerge to handle virtual events
Provide tech support for event hosts and attendees via phone, chat, and/or video chat during their event
Ability to quickly react to address real time security issues presented from potential hackers and meeting hijackers
Train and provide technical guidance to other team members and support teams as needed
Provide insight on production aspects of complex virtual, hybrid and experiential events
Lead production teams through the virtual event execution process
Set up projects, with clear objectives, in the project management system and maintain schedules, tasks, and budgets
Management of assigned teams (production, creative, technical) and workflows
Provide post-project summary report, including (but not limited to): agenda, key takeaways, event metrics (# of attendees, analysis of attendees, length of event, etc.), challenges/areas of improvement, budget spend, action items and next steps
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
BA/BS Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or similar
0-2 years of work experience in marketing, sales, event planning/management or business
Strives for excellence and hyper-focused on accuracy, attention to detail, thoroughness and follow-through
Ability to create effective relationships, influence and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels
Experience with the Zoom virtual conferencing platform
Availability to provide off hours support as required
Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment with constantly changing priorities and high customer demand
Represent a knowledgeable, efficient, and professional image of the company to clients by handling business in a respectful and professional demeanor
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including the ability to think creatively to contribute ideas that will drive value in a dynamic, client-centered environment
Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills (written, verbal, visual)
