This is an opportunity to be a part of a dynamic design engineering consulting team servicing the state of Montana. As a member of this talented team you will do engineering consulting in your own community related to nutrient removal, water/ wastewater treatment plants, pump station design, and pipeline design. In addition to the meaningful work you will be doing right here in Montana, our engineers enjoy the opportunity to be a part of nationwide cross functional teams that are solving complex problems and designing sophisticated systems related to water and wastewater.
Primary Responsibilities
In the role of a Water/ Wastewater Engineer, we'll count on you to:
- Take responsibility for performing complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
- Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed.
- Function as technical specialist or project manager on mid-size projects as needed.
- Supervise small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience designing and creating plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects.
- PE license.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of a task.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position is $66,000 - $95,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
