.REPORTS TO: Building Principal & Assistant Principal

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develops a program of study in the industrial arts that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students as determined by the industrial arts curriculum.
  • Instruct students by lecturing, demonstrating, and using audiovisual aids on various topics related to the industrial arts.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Be appropriately licensed and endorsed in accordance with state statutes and Board of Public Education
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Candidates must have, or be able to obtain, an active Montana teaching license with a grades 5-12 Industrial Arts endorsement or similar endorsement.

The base salary for this position starts at $43,717 and increases with documented prior experience. We allow up to 10 years of previous teaching experience toward placement on our teachers pay scale.

Health benefits are included for this position. Training for this position will begin August 5th.
