Job Title: Instructor II, Computer Science Department Employer: Montana Technological University, which is part of The University of MontanaWork Location: Butte, MTJob Duties: Teach computer science, cybersecurity, and software engineering courses at all university levels. Normal teaching load is 4 courses per semester (12 credits). Prepare course materials, prepare and deliver lectures, initiate and moderate classroom discussions, evaluate and grade students’ classwork, compile and administer examinations, maintain regular office hours, and collaborate with colleagues. Supervise undergraduate research and lead student organizations. Provide service to the Lance College of Mines and Engineering, the Department of Computer Science, and the university.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Primary Education Requirements: Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field.Other Special Skills or Requirements: Experience (1 semester) teaching computer science-related courses at the college level.
