BUTTE SILVER BOW COUNTY COUNCIL ON AGING INC. BELMONT SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: KITCHEN HELPER
QUALIFICATIONS: (1) High School Diploma or G.E.D. (2) Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen preferred. (3) Familiar with local sanitation regulations as they relate to kitchen and food preparation preferred. (4) Must be able to lift and carry up to (20lbs.).
RESPONSIBLE TO: (1) Management Team of the Belmont Senior Citizens Center and the Kitchen Manager 2) Employees are the subject to all Policies and Procedures of Butte Silver Bow Council of Aging.
SPECIFIC DUTIES: Assist Kitchen Manager in daily meal preparation of healthy, nutritious and appealing food for site and home delivery. Help put up meals for home delivery. Help serve meals and desserts in congregate setting Assist in the washing of dishes. Keep refrigerator clean and odor free. Keeps all appliances clean. Helps with all general and deep cleaning of the kitchen and picking up the dining room after lunch Help with set up of groups. Follows instructions and completes work in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a neat and clean appearance. Dress in accordance with Health and Meal preparation regulations and according to Agency Policies and Procedures. Attend required training or special meetings as deemed necessary. Practice \"On the Job\" safety procedures. Meet with Management Team or Kitchen Manager as required to discuss problems. Exhibits friendly and courteous behavior at all times when serving clients. Other duties as assigned.
HOURS: 6:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday Wage: \$12.00-\$15.00 per hour depending on experience.
