QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to think clearly and function appropriately in stressful situations
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including listening skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Evidence of the practice of high levels of professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products and database applications
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shift work
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to pass a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Buy and sell energy, transmission and capacity type products that are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's Risk Policies
- Perform load and generation forecasting, resource coordination and resource optimization duties
- Manage and optimize Northwestern Energy generation and long-term contractual resources
- Operate within the culture, risk tolerance and risk management policies of the company
- Assist in the development of strategies and execute transactions in the real-time power markets
- Present a competent, professional and consistent "face" of the company to counterparts
- Perform other Power Marketing functions as necessary
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Full-time position.
$25.97 - $65.00 per hour, depending on experience.
