The Montana Chemical Dependency Center (MCDC) provides medically monitored detoxification and inpatient treatment services to Montana residents who have substance use disorders, and who have co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders. The center is licensed for 6 medically monitored detoxification beds and 42 in-patient treatment beds Major Duties or Responsibilities: Biopsychsocial/Treatment Plan Interviews patients and completes a Biopsychsocial Assessment to develop an individualized treatment plan. Confers with family members, other agencies, and interdisciplinary team throughout the treatment process. Applies therapies and interventions to address patients’ cognitive and behavioral impairment. Groups and Lectures Counsels patients, individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes. Do cumentation Completes and maintains records regarding treatments, progress, services provided and other required information.
