Van Driver:Must have a High school diploma or equivalentMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to pass a doctor's physical for drivingMust be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbsResponsible to the Management team and Meals CoordinatorAll employees are subject to Policies and Procedures of the Butte Silver Bow Council on AgingSpecific Duties:Check your delivery sheet each morning for changes. Assist in putting meals into coolers. Load delivery van with containers carrying meals and other food items to be delivered to home-bound senior citizensReport any problems or suspicious events relating to the clientele to the social worker or management team. Return participant contributions to the office manager on a daily basis. Keep track of funds and write out receipts for each transaction. Clean van internally on a daily basis, wiping up all spills.Clean your vehicle weekly.No garbage shall be left in the van.Clean coolers or meal carriers on a weekly basis.In the interest of safety, driver is expected to wash outside of van frequently. Van may be washed with senior center funds. Mileage sheets must be completed daily and kept inside the vehicle.Maintenance schedules must be followed. Vehicle maintenance must be reported to the executive director or meals coordinator. Inspection sheets shall be completed and brought to the attention of the management team immediately when defects appear. Maintain a neat and clean appearance. Dress in accordance with Policies and Procedures.Attend required training or special meetings as deemed necessary. Practice on the job safety procedures. Do not talk on your cell phone when in a Belmont vehicle unless you need to communicate with the Belmont.Meet with management team or office manager as required to discuss problems. Exhibit friendly and courteous behavior at all times when serving clients. Other related duties as assigned. Hours: 5+ hours per day depending upon length of route.Wage: $13.00 per hour.
