Logan Health Manager - Assisted Living in Chester, Montana

Job Description Summary:

This position works closely with assigned leadership regarding strategic planning, program development, continuous quality improvement and financial/budget reporting and monitoring. Responsible for managing and coordinating assigned staff and activities to ensure optimum service. Responsible for workflow, performance, regulatory compliance, and the overall management of assigned area operations to achieve exceptional care, superb service, and maximal productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) of the following required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in assigned area(s) required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ leadership experience required.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. Workday experience preferred.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Management Job Duties:

Strategic Execution

Drive organizational objectives by operationalizing changes and initiatives effectively and efficiently. Proactively anticipate both the needs of Logan Health and the impact operations has on the organization’s success. Collect and analyze data, prepare and present recommendations, and explain associated benefits and risks for improving operations.

Business Acumen

Demonstrate and further develop competencies in the areas of leadership, financial management, employee engagement, human resources knowledge, organizational dynamics and governance, organizational communication, strategic planning, change management, risk management, compliance, patient safety and quality improvement. Demonstrate professional ownership, self-development and a desire for life-long learning.

Lead and influence the team to provide outstanding customer service. Job Specific Duties:

  • Manages and ensures the day-to-day operating needs of the assigned area(s).

  • Works with leadership to respond to concerns, fosters an environment of immediate service recovery and transparency for questions and issues. Drives culture to improve experience, service and access.

  • Provides input into the budget process for the assigned area(s). Operates within the context of the established budget. Maximizes opportunities to meet and exceed budget guidelines. Monitors, provides statistical reporting and implements changes necessary to comply with budget, maximizes revenues, productivity and efficiencies and/or contain expenses as applicable to assigned area(s). Develops clear goals to address variances to the budget.

  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all required legal requirements and governmental reporting regulations as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • As applicable to assigned area(s): Ensures all business functions are operative and all processes and procedures are effectively and efficiently in place and aligned with Logan Health policies and procedures. Creates goals in collaboration with assigned leadership for operations and ensures that these goals are in line with organizational goals.

  • Ensures compliance with safety, risk management, infection prevention, workplace safety standards and/or quality standards as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Defines workflows, processes and defined response times as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Establishes and provides data and metrics to leadership to identify and expand functionality as applicable to assigned area(s).

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
