Adecco has joined forces with one of the global leaders in sourcing, processing, and distributing top-tier bulk grains, pulses, edible beans, oilseeds, and organics for both local and international markets. We're on the lookout for exceptional Warehouse Operators to become part of our team and evolve with us, as we shape the future one seed at a time. This role offers a Direct Hire Opportunity with starting wages ranging from $18-20/hr.

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Operator, you'll be responsible for documenting data related to the receiving, storage, and dispatching of grain at grain elevators. Working collaboratively with your team members, you'll strive to achieve operational objectives while upholding quality standards and efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

Operate production equipment, including managing slide gates to control grain flow.

Accurately weigh and record grain, both incoming and outgoing, via truck or rail.

Take precise samples of all incoming and outgoing grain.

Maintain records indicating the location and contents of storage tanks and bins.

Monitor grain grades by weighing samples and recording results.

Operate equipment such as conveyors, bucket elevators, and storage tanks.

Prepare rail cars for loading, adhering to safety protocols.

Operate forklifts as needed.

Conduct maintenance and repair tasks on equipment, documenting in the maintenance program.

Keep work area clean and organized, following safety protocols.

Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Ability to comprehend safety regulations and operating instructions.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Basic computer literacy and mechanical aptitude.

Strong work ethic, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and quality.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move freely throughout the operations plant, including climbing and stooping.

Capability to lift and move various weights, up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Exposure to extreme climate conditions, noise, and heights.

Willingness to wear protective gear as required.
