Essential Functions
- Ensure the smooth daily running of the kitchen
- Motivate, encourage, and challenge your peers
- Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared
- Cook and package batches of food, such as hamburgers and fried chicken, which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold
- Make customer product recommendations based on their food order
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Pre-cook items such as pizzas, in order to prepare them for later use
- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
- Complete shift checklist and entry in a timely manner as established by management
- Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity
- Follow all Company Policies and established procedures
- Take food and drink orders and receive payment from customers
- Report any /all unsafe conditions to management
- Report and process any team and/or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure
- Perform other related duties and activities as requested by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) recommended
- Willingness to learn and have fun!
- Willingness to work hard and commit to building habits of someone that wants to move-up
