Are you an LCSW/LCPC Licensure Candidate looking for a position to grow your skills as a clinician, while earning supervised hours towards your licensure? We have an amazing opportunity for an LCSW/LCPC Licensure Candidate to join our Cut Bank, MT Behavioral Health Team!

The clinic at Logan Health - Cut Bank is an NHSC site. As an LCPC or LCSW, with a three-year commitment, you would be eligible for up to $100,000 in student loan repayment. Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Education and/or Social Work required.

  • Mental health and/or addictions counseling preferred.

  • Must be eligible for Montana State Licensure track through Board of Behavioral Health.

  • Must have supervision in place and be on licensure track according to the Board of Behavioral Health.

  • Must successfully obtain CPR within three (3) months of hire.

  • Must attend organization provided MANDT Training and possess the ability to be certified.

  • Licensure must be completed with designated licensure track requirements in a timely manner.

Job Duties:

  • *Provides individual, group and family therapy as assigned.

  • *Contributes to the effective implementation of individual treatment plans through positive interaction, life skills groups, supervision and treatment interventions of clients.

  • *Completes accurate and timely documentation of client behaviors.

  • *Provides crisis intervention as necessary by utilizing deescalating techniques and safety guidelines.

  • *Performs as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care and office support. Communicates clinical information during team meetings.

  • *Provides case management support as well as transition planning to include, but may not be limited to; communicating with referral sources and collaborating with community providers.

  • *Provides intake services as part of the therapy team.

  • *Identifies at risk patients, develops safety plans and works well with Physician/Providers and Nursing Staff.

  • *Communicates effectively with patients, family members and referral sources regarding patient progress and aftercare planning.

  • *Suggests approaches/interventions that might be more effective with patients for team and co-workers. Presents cases in weekly staffing according to problems, interventions and progress.

*Maintains regular and consistent attendance at work as scheduled by department

leadership.

Work Environment:

The work environment for this position is a residential facility setting or day treatment school setting. While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee may be exposed to clients who may ask inappropriate personal questions, display socially unacceptable personal behaviors, use profanity and sexually explicit phrases, make insulting remarks or threats regarding appearance, age, sex or race, and exhibit defiance, dishonesty, and assaultive or self-destructive behavior. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and may be subject to local travel is required as required by facility needs. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate with occasional outbursts. MANDT procedures are used to “de-escalate” volatile patients and help calm them down without having to place physical force upon the patient. On occasion, a volatile patient may be encountered and physical restraining may be required. Employee is able to call for assistance from other personnel as needed. Employee may participate in extra-curricular activities such as basketball, volleyball, hiking, field trips, etc., if physically able and as medically cleared.

Please know schedules and shifts are subject to change based on patient care and department/organizational needs.

Schedule:

Various and rotating schedule to include weekend coverage. Must be available to work varying schedule with work hours subject to daily census needs.
