PHARMACY ASSISTANT MONTANA STATE PRISON DEER LODGE, MT * * MISSION -Montana Department of Corrections is creating a safer Montana through Accountability, Rehabilitation and Empowerment. JOB OVERVIEW -Help and support the medication delivery system at Montana State Prison to ensure medications are ordered, processed and delivered in a timely manner. * Maintains patients’ records, assists in processing medication orders and tracks delivery of medications from the mail-order pharmacy vendor. * Ensure that inmates transferred to various locations in the system and those discharged from the system have an adequate supply of medication. * Reports to the Director of Nursing or designated nursing supervisor and provides administrative support function to same. The hourly rate of this position will increase by $1.50 per hour or 4% whichever is greater starting July 1, 2024, in accordance with HB13.
