State of Montana Sex Offender Program Treatment Technician in Deer Lodge, Montana

SEX OFFENDER PROGRAM TREATMENT TECHNICIAN MONTANA STATE PRISON DEER LODGE, MT MISSION -Montana Department of Corrections is creating a safer Montana through Accountability, Rehabilitation and Empowerment. JOB OVERVIEW –The Clinical Services Division emphasizes the importance of prevention and wellness regarding offender treatment by delivering evidenced based services to meet the needs of incarcerated men. The Sexual Offender Treatment Department delivers specific services to those who have been recommended or required to participate in sexual offender treatment services. Duties to include facilitating education SOP groups, providing assistance with group participants, attending trainings to enhance skills of working with offenders undergoing treatment and more. QUALIFICATIONS -Bachelor’s degree in the human services field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc) or by a combination of specialized training, experience and education listed below. High school diploma and at least two years or more of specialized training and experience in the mental health and/or corrections field.
