TOWN OF FAIRVIEW Public Works Employee in FAIRVIEW, Montana
PERFORM Routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment Labor involved in construction and maintenance projects as part of a crew, including pavement cutting, ditch digging, manhole and line cleaning, main and pipe repair, laying and back filling Helps cut, fit, lay, repair, tap, clean and flush water mains, pipe, gates and fittings on repair of mains and services and installation of services, fire hydrants; assists in shutting off broken sections of water mains. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS State Certified Water / Wastewater operator or able to become water certified within six (6) months and waste water certified within nine (9) months of employment. Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or able to obtain one within 3 months. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
