Asay Farms Partnership has an opening for 1 General Farm Worker. Duties include: Maintain, drive, attach and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements/tractors/equipment, such as plow, baler, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant, and cultivate grain. Operate motor bike or all-terrain vehicle in the course of performing job duties. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery, and grain bins. Drive grain to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Winter duties: Feed and water cattle and monitor food and water supplies. Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures. Shift cattle between grazing areas to ensure that they have sufficient access to food. Mark cattle to identify ownership and grade, using brands, tags, paint or tattoos. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses or pumps. Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences.
